Providing Food to Families in Need.

  • We serve 60 local families within a 10-mile radius of Narrowsburg, NY.

  • We provide monthly food assistance and special holiday handouts at Thanksgiving, Christmas, & Easter.

  • 14% of families in Sullivan and Wayne Counties face food insecurity.

  • Many families working full-time still struggle to afford groceries.

  • 1 in 6 families in Sullivan County rely on SNAP benefits to feed their families.

  • Our work is entirely volunteer-run and made possible by generous donors and community partners.

The Pantry operates every Thursday, 4:30–5:30 PM at St. Francis Xavier Church Hall (151 Bridge Street, Narrowsburg)

Food Insecurity

Sullivan County has the highest rate of poverty in the Hudson Valley and the Food Insecurity rate is 14%

Food insecurity is defined as a household’s inability to provide enough food for every person to live an active, healthy life. Access to food plays an essential role in living a healthy lifestyle, and those who face food insecurity are often forced to choose between food and other essentials, such as utilities, medical care, and housing.
